Day 1
We cut out some fabrics into different shapes and sizes and we sewed them on to each other to make a square shaped piece of fabric.  Once we had 6 we made sure that all the squares were the same size. We made 6 of the big fabric squares in one day.

                                                                     Day 2
We took 3 big fabric squares and attached white fabric on the side.   We then attached the other 3 big fabric squares on the other side of the white fabric.  Then we attached a white piece of fabric on the bottom of the 3 fabrics and we attached the other 3 fabrics on the bottom of the white fabric. Then we did a border on the big piece of cloth and we sowed it on.

When our big piece of cloth was ready we cut out a red stripe cloth for the bottom of the quilt and we glued batting on to it.  After that we glued our fabric cloth (the piece made of all our squares) on the batting. Then we ruled lines on the quilt and followed the line and sewed it using the machine.

We got up to putting the final border on our quilt, which we had to sew by hand but we didn't quite finish it.  It was a lot of sewing!
